Realistic Simulation + Clinical Environment
The number of participating surgeons ranges between 4 and 10, depending on the type of course. Training is carried out either individually or in pairs at each work station. This small group size has been proven didactically superior and allows the tutors to concentrate on each individual and thus optimize the success of this course.
A very important course element is the operating theatre visits, which establishes a link
between training and clinical reality.
The courses at MISTC are endorsed by the Society of Endoscopic and Laparoscopic
Surgeons of India(SELSI) and Indian Hernia Society (IHS). CME credits have been approved
for our course by Delhi Medical Council, 35 hours for training course in Operative Laproscopy
and 18 hours for training course in Laparoscopic Hernia Surgery.
"This course meets the guidelines as established in the "Framework for
Post-Residency Surgical Education and Training" and is endorsed by the
Society of American Gastrointestinal Endoscopic Surgeons (SAGES)."
